Beta 450 RR Stabilizer Kit - SUB mount (With Steering Damper):
The Beta rubber SUB mount assembly has isolated rubber mounts that are integral to the SUB mount itself. MED and SOFT compound bushings are provided. The bar location is slightly forward of stock, in the #3 position. The cable guide shown can be purchased as an option along with the damper kit.
Beta 450 RR Stabilizer Kit - SUB mount (No Damper):
The mount-kit-only assembly includes everything except the stabilizer. This application requires the damper to be fitted with a plus 8mm stepped link arm. The link arm and puller to remove existing arm are included in kit. Shown here is the Beta rubber SUB mount assembly which has isolated rubber mounts integral to the SUB mount itself. MED and SOFT compound bushings are provided to suit rider preference. The bar location is slightly forward of stock, in the #3 position. Included in the kit is a red anodized bearing shroud and all the necessary hardware to make the installation easy.
"SUB" mount stands for Stabilizer Under Bars, originally designed for raising the bars. These kits are designed for use with oversize bars. "Bar reducers" are available as an option to convert the kit to standard diameter bars should that be desired.
This concept allows more room for other gear, such as a GPS or Enduro/Rally computers, while retaining quick access to adjust the stabilizer. This is also useful for the taller rider who wants his bars a little higher, as it raises the bar location approximately 11-25mm, depending on bike model.
In some cases, you might consider installing a lower bend handlebar at the same time, unless you are indeed trying to achieve a higher bar height along with your stabilizer installation. The SUB mounts are only available on certain models based on the physical limitations of mounting in this area.
